Description
The evidence at the hearing before the referee was essentially undisputed. Claimant was employed for almost four months. During that time she was absent approximately seven days because of illness, her childs illness, and to pick up her boyfriend at the airport. Each time she notified her employer that she would be absent prior to the time she was scheduled to report to work. The incident that led to her termination began when she called her employer, and stated that she needed to make an out-of-state trip because of an illness or death in her boyfriends family. Both the claimant and the employers representative testified that either her supervisor or an owner of the company told her "if you have to go, go." When her boyfriend called to inform the employer when she would return to work, she was terminated.
